May 26 update: Stage 18 is a flat run down the west side of pictureque Lake Garda after the downhill start in Levico Terme. So who's left to contest a flat sprint finish on a tight finishing circuit in Brescia? Andre Griepel, Greg Henderson, Chris Sutton, William Bonnet, Julien Dean, Robert Förster, Fabio Sabatini? Can their tired teams keep the race together. Often a break will succeed on a stage like this in a third week of Grand Tour. Tune in early because there should be some spectacular helicopter shots. — Steve
