News and Updates for Vuelta a Andalucía 2012
February 22 update: Unlike last year's race, we should have an exciting conclusion to this year's Vuelta a Andalucía with five riders within 15 seconds of the lead and a hilltop finish to cap things off. Stage 4 is a short, hilly romp around Jaén which is often featured in the Vuelta a Espana. These photos show how scenic and hilly the area is. The climb to the finish in La Guardia de Jaén, a small old Roman village, averages over 8% for the final 1.8 km with the last 100m being over 10%.
