The road leading to Estación de Valdezcaray (ski resort), the summit finish for stage 4 (photo credit: imamon)

August 20 update: Stage 4 starts from Barakaldo, in the Basque country and heads due south to the ski resort summit finish at Estación de Valdezcaray after 160 km of racing. The is the fourth time Estación de Valdezcaray has been used in the Vuelta, but not since 1991. The climb is 13.4 km long but averages a modest 5.2% so it won't likely be very selective. — Steve
