I'm from Toronto, Canada and Rebecca is from Greenville, PA. We met in Italy in 2002, married in 2004 and now live in Berkeley, California with our dog Ed. I'm a computer programmer while Rebecca is Professor of Cell Biology at UC Berkeley and winner of the 2006 NIH Pioneer Award.

We strive to emphasize the less serious, but informative, side of cycling with our alternative road bike racing coverage and touring reports.
