The good news is I got myself a nice result in the Elite 4 race. The bad news is my start/finish time prevented me from taking pictures and my wife experienced delays getting to the summit and finish line of this logistically challenging, point-to-point course preventing her from catching the action at the front of all groups except Elite 4 and Masters 40+. So, if you are one of the big shooters looking for more photos of yourself flashing the victory salute then you're out of luck. Of course, I'd welcome any photos that could supplement this album or any photo caption corrections. Cat 4 summit - Just seconds behind was young Stephen Dey who was largely responsible for the fast climb and finished 4th on the day	Descending the much steeper east side is treacherous	One mistake cornering on race day can result in a helicopter ride to a San Jose Hospital
With cramping legs and fried nerves, riders hit the warm flats before the rollercoaster ride to the finish	M30 1-2-3 finish - Spine's Michael Hernandez sprints for 5th ahead of Landis' Greg Hritzo	Cat 3 finish - Village Peddler, Spine and McGuire riders
Cat 3 finish - McGuire's Mckinley Thompson putting out Max effort	Cat 4 finish - France's Matthieu Allie shelled anybody who attempted to stay with him and soloed home for the win	Cat 4 finish - According to eye-witnesses, this is what Salvador Borrego-Crum looked like as he time-trialed the final 10 miles for 2nd place
Cat 4 finish - Despite a bad looking outfit, Steve Hill slipped away from the 4th place rider on the final twisty descent and placed 3rd	M40 1-2-3 - Winner Chris D'Aluisio of Morgan Stanley out-sprints Spine's Mark Caldwell and Mark Fennell of Simple Fit who are obscured by Elite 4 5th place finisher Haydn Mackay	Touchstone and Webcor women sprinting to the finish line with M40+ 4th finisher, Spine's Colin Cooper, looking on
