Chopper Bike

Race Flyer from Velo Promo:

Directions: From Hwy 1 or Hwy 68 north of Monterey, take Reservation Road alongside Fort Ord (northwest from 68, east from 1) to the East Garrison Gate, and enter the post and follow the signs one mile to the parking area. Please do not drive any further onto the post than this area.

Digging for the line

Course: Same as 2003 & 2004. It is a 15 mile loop, not going anywhere near Laguna Seca. The roads are: Chapel, Watkins Gate, Henneken's Ranch, Eucalyptus, Parker Flats, Parker Flats Cut-Off, Eucalyptus, Barloy Canyon, Watkins Gate, East Garrison Loop, and Chapel. Start just inside gate at East Garrison, and finish on Watkins Gate. The course is a barbell, with Eucalyptus being used in both directions, one lane each separated by yellow line. This course includes the "wall" up Barloy from Eucalyptus, the stiff but short climb up Parker Flats Cut-off to Eucalyptus, and the fast twisty descent on Hennecken's Ranch to the right turn onto Eucalyptus.
