March 11 update: After three flat stages, stage 4 will feature some action on the hilly approach to Belleville. In particular, there is a 3 km @ 8.4 % climb called Mont Brouilly, (see profile left), just 14 km from the finish which should create a decisive break on the 25% section. — Steve

March 7 update: Unlike previous years, there is no prologue for this year's event. In fact, there is no time-trialing at all this year. Stage 1 meanders around the rolling terrain in and outside of Mantes-la-Jolie. Although, the stage starts and finishes in Mantes-la-Jolie, the start and finish locations are at different spots within the town limits. — Steve
